Easter Themed Mini Session | Gaylord Michigan

Grabbing updated pictures of your family through an Easter themed mini session is so much fun. What’s not to love? Bunnies, peeps, eggs, oh my! I absolutely love doing Easter themed mini sessions because there are so many great ideas to draw from, and every single option is cute cute cute! Check out these adorable sisters in the gallery below!

What is a mini session?

A mini session is typically what photographers refer to as a themed session or a very short length session. In this case, this was a 15 minute session and yielded about 20 great photos. You can expect to pay somewhere between $150-250 for most easter themed mini sessions and get anywhere from 5-15 images, but of course, this can vary by area, photographer, and is dependent on the number of props.

How to DIY:

Listen, this easter themed mini session would be VERY easy to recreate on your own. There are 4 key items: backdrop, egg garland, bunny ears and jelly beans. The backdrop used here is a $5 rolled paper from the paper section at https://www.hobbylobby.com/. The egg garland was found in the seasonal section at Aldi. The easter bunny ear headband was something we already had in the house, but could easily be found in any easter section, I’m sure. We have a pink and white pair, so I’m sure it came in a 2-pack. Obviously the final prop is Jelly beans!
